Rencontrer Deepika et le Sama Ballet de Sri Lanka  fut un plaisir
il était convenu que je lui envoie les photos et vidéos du festival concernant la troupe Sama Ballet, voici le premier volet: un survol de la troupe d'enfants fondée en 2000, sept autres volets pour montrer la troupe en action dans tout son art sont à venir

Founded in 1985, ‘Sama’ means peace in Sinhala and Tamil. Sama Ballet preserves and presents intact traditional dance forms while experimenting with new forms and ideas. They promote peace and communal, religious and social harmony amongst all people through the performing arts.

To meet Deepika and the Sama Ballet from Sri Lanka in Espelette for the Gauargi Festival 06 was a real pleasure.
She ask me to send her and them photos and vd clips I could made, and so I do it now, because I find at last all the original pieces in my PC!

(priv:I'm well and I can walk without crutches now.
I sweam for my rehabilitation in thalassotherapy sweaming pool, and I dance again sometimes when I'm very well! it's fine.

• Sama Ballet Taldea 1985. urtean sortu zuen "SAMA INTERNATIONAL TRUST" organizazioak. Azken hau, irabazi-asmorik gabeko erakunde bat da. Bere helburua bakarra da: bakea eta elkarte, erlijio eta pertsona desberdinen arteko harreman eta elkar ulertzea bultzatzea. "Sama" hitzak, herrialdean nagusi diren Sinhaldar eta Tamil hizkuntzetan "bakea"-ren esanahia du. Aspaldiko dantzak diren bezala mantentzen saiatzen dira baina forma eta ideia berriei ere ateak irekitzen dizkiete.
  86.urtetik hona taldeak mundu osoko jaialdi askotan hartu du parte: Frantzian, Portugalen, Holanda, Tailandian, Japonian, Espainian, Jugoslavian, Erresuma Batuan, Alemanian, Turkian, Indian, Taiwanen, Malasian, Australian eta Zelanda Berrian.
  Umeen taldea 2000. urtean sortu zen. Herrialde osoko irakaslerik ospetsuenek erakusten diete dantzatzen haurrei. 2002. urtean hasi ziren beren folklorea atzerrian erakusten Taiwaneko Jaialdian. Bertan eta Eraiki Dantza Taldeak Sama Ballet ezagutu zuen. Sri Lankako dantzak laguntzen dituzte haizezko zenbait instrumentuk eta hango ezaugarriak diren danbor mota desberdinek. Herrialdeko Iparralde eta Hegoaldeko jantzi tipikoak erakutsiko dizkigute.
